Plastic Currency Notes | Reserve Bank of INDIA published plastic rupee notes

Reserve Bank of India published Rupees10 polymer notes recently. The note is made of polymers (plastic) in the place of normal cotton notes. Yes the notes we use today are made of pure cotton not paper. The plastic notes have the life spam of 5 years which is 5 times greater than normal notes. It doesn't get dirty. RBI destroys thousands of currency notes every day. We have been facing currency problems.
The plastic notes cant be copied. So, it will help us to get rid of fake notes. Pakistan is nowadays.....
supplying fake notes which is hard to differentiate.Once my friend Akhilesh went to bank to save some money. At  the counter the cashier took out a Rupees 1000 note and tore off. "It was fake note", Cashier said. My friend could not identify that was fake.
So, check the note carefully before taking, giving notes and withdrawing form ATM.
Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has been publishing plastic currency notes
for 20 years.

What are you going to do with your first plastic (polymer) note?                                                                 HOME
